eBoutik.net Mission Statement

We are a small family business selling a unique range of stylish jewellery and giftware of which most of them made by hand.

Having worked for many years in one of London’s finest jewellery store, I decided that I wanted to create a shop that would offer the same quality of jewellery and gift items available in famous high streets shops but to sell them at much more reasonable prices.

Our running cost are extremely low, no rent for premises, no fees to webmaster and no salaries to employees (no, not even myself).

All the benefits are directly re-invested into eBoutik.net. Therefore we must apologise to all other e-commerce businesses but we do not have the heart to set our margins at 10 to 20 times more than factory prices ! 

Of course that is not always going to be easy, since some designers enforce a minimum & maximum retail price structure that we would need to follow. So, we will simply only list designers who pride themselves in their work and not their worth!

We will keep looking for factories that understand what we are trying to achieve and accept to work with us at the lowest of price, even when we cannot always order the minimum quantity they require! Fortunatly our manufacturers are the clever and understood that they can only benefit from a relationship with us, getting their products known through eBoutik.net

Now dear customers, it is up to you to help us to keep our vision of things alive. Trust in us and in our work, and, in return we will deliver to you the finest service and products. But anyway, at the prices we set, what do you risk really ?!

We want to show people that quality doesn’t have to come with a high price tag - even if in recent years we have forgot this - and that everybody can afford it.

We do not want to hear anymore that since our prices are so low, the quality must be poor, which is why we thought that we owed to explain what we are about and how we want to go about it. We are asked all around, how we can do this, that Sterling Silver or Semi–precious stones are too expensive. Well this is in fact not true, all of our Sterling Silver jewellery items are all stamped with the universal fineness mark .925 as proof of their quality and are nickel free according to EC laws.
